With more than  twenty years of educational experience in Alachua county, Darry will spark your child's interest in learning through hands-on activity based techniques.   Her experience includes teaching pre-K thru grade 5 and Title 1, She is a University of Florida graduate and is certified in Primary, Elementary, and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) K-12.

Basics & Beyond Tutoring is committed to providing one-on-one tutoring for approximately the same price as most companies charge for small group instruction. 

Many children cannot focus for long periods of time, so a variety of session options are available.  We believe that frequent, shorter sessions are more advantageous than longer sessions once a week.

Not only do we work with students, we also work with families by providing the skills and materials needed to help their  children.

Home School support is also available.  Often families are unsure where to start or what is required.  Sometimes, they need extra support when working with children who have Special Needs.  We offer a variety of Home School Services.
